Statement

Deep within the painted surface, the melodic line,
or the written word is a story. As an artist, a musician,
and a writer, I try to uncover that story. My hope is
that my expressions will be a catalyst for others to
write their own story.
    Music is a constant when I paint– Mozart, Miles
Davis, Sarah McLaughlin, Deep Forest–sometimes it
takes a few trials to find the right sound. But when
the sound goes inside and escapes through the brush,
the sound becomes color and color becomes sound.
As the thought that began the vision emerges, music
and art blend and move within the same sphere, and
a creation is born.
