My work is a personal adventure. I rarely begin with an idea in mind or a plan. I almost always start with a few quick lines and go from there. Eventually the piece takes form to me and shapes itself into something more familiar, an eye or maybe a foot. Everything begins to fall and flow into place in a very organic manner. The end product could be anything. Art to me is a journey to make nothing into something. It is my way of finding peace with all the thoughts in my head and the busy world around me. It doesn’t always have to make sense. Sometimes it just is.
